Gas Detectors and Sensors
PemTech gas detectors are designed to sense toxic and combustible gases in ambient air. All gas sensors are microprocessor based and are modularly designed, using the latest in digital technology. The methods of gas detection that are used are: Metal Oxide Semiconductor (MOS), Electrochemical, Catalytic Bead, and Infrared Absorption.
PemTech’s hydrogen sulfide gas detectors have the ability to measure H2S gas in surrounding air, while our combustible gas sensors are made with catalytic bead and infrared sensing elements, allowing them to give Lower Explosive Limit (LEL) warnings. Our toxic gas detectors are designed with infrared oxygen deficiency sensing elements and can be used in hazardous environments. We also carry a carbon dioxide gas sensor that can detect CO2 gas using its Non Dispersive Infrared (NDIR) technology.
